Would you like to gain work experience in the hotel and tourism industry? Our partner hotel currently has vacancies for internships in the Entertainment department to work in Costa Rica. During your internship you will learn a lot about the hotel’s procedures and you will be responsible for the entertainment and well-being of the hotel guests. The hotel accommodates international guests with whom you will be in contact throughout your internship. You will improve your communication skills as well as your knowledge of English and Spanish. During the day, you will be responsible for children’s and adult’s entertainment in the sports area. The hotel offers activities such as volleyball, water gymnastics, Zumba and many more. In the evening you will take part in the performances and games.
The 4 star hotel is located on the coast of Costa Rica. Costa Rica is the perfect location for nature lovers, as the country offers lush vegetation and a great variety of flora and fauna. The hotel is located close to a bright sandy beach. You can plan numerous leisure activities directly from the hotel during your internship in Costa Rica. The place is well animated despite the quiet location. The hotel also offers its interns free accommodation, 3 meals a day and a monthly remuneration. In your free time you can explore the wonderful landscapes of Costa Rica.
General information
- You work in a 4-star hotel in the entertainment department
- Your working time is 48 hours, you have one day off a week
- Duration of internship: from 2 months
- Start of internship: immediately or later
Your tasks
- Attending international guests in the fields of communication and entertainment
- Conducting sports activities
- Performance of evening shows, active participation in games on stage
- International correspondence in English, German and Spanish
- Child animation and care
- Organisation and execution of competitions and events
Your profile
- Pupil, student, trainee in tourism, hotel management, sports, foreign languages, communication, social sciences, business administration or similar
- Very sociable, cheerful, self-confident, helpful
- Fun working with children and adult entertainment
- Knowledge of English is a prerequisite to work in Costa Rica, other foreign languages are an advantage
