s-w-e-p-Team hurls into the “Ritmos del Mundo”

29.06.2012 17:46 |

For the second time this year Johanna and Denise found themselves again in the long waiting queue in front of the Siam Park. For the second time a 9-hour-mega-party was about to begin. For the second time internationally known DJs raised the roof of the water park’s amphitheater. In the following you can find out why they definitely won’t stick to the two times:

After we left the “I Love Music Festival” in April this year we already knew, that we’ll be in the game for the next big suchlike event. No sooner said than done. Just a few weeks later the ticket sale for the “Ritmos del Mundo” began and we bought our tickets straight away. In the upcoming weeks we were full of anticipation, checked the countdown on the webpage frecuently and spent exhausting hours on preparing our outfits. Lastly they predicted for the weekend of the 16th of June wonderful summerly temperatures of around 30 degrees.

That’s how, just some weeks after the “I Love Music Festival”, we finally stood again in the long waiting queue in front of the Siam Park. The sun was burning in the sky, competitive waving fans, we could already hear the grumbling basses and we were getting closer step by step. Then it was time again! The big amphitheater spread out in front of us, the upper echelons were filled with colourful dressed people, on the left hand side the stage with Nvilla putting the crowd with his music in the perfect mood for the night.

Luckily the big decoration of the stage casted a cloud over the dance floor in the middle of the amphitheater, so that one could dance all the time during the hot and sunny hours of the afternoon. The lightly dressed Canarios established their reputation and were best prepared for taking funny pictures. So it didn’t take long until the people standing around us teamed up as a big group enjoying together the atmosphere of the festival to the fullest.

Just in time with the dawn the performance of the star-artist of the festival began: DJ Chuckie. The crowd was going wild yet at the beginning of his show, which was accompanied by an extensive light-show on stage. Thereupon it meant 2 hours of dancing to hits like “What happens in Vegas”. The big final was traditionally ushered by the local matador Real El Canario including a pyro-show. That’s how we left the Siam Park shortly after midnight and 9 hours of non-stop-party with a big smile on our faces and the conclusion: “Next time we’ll be in again!”

Enjoy your time on the Canaries and maybe see you at the next party!

Your s-w-e-p-Team :-)
