Get to know other departments

If you apply for a placement in the restaurant department, it's possible to change to another department during your internship. Since the hotels are quite flexible about which department their interns work in, it is very important for us to know the department you would like to work in. If you do your internship fo several months it's possible to work in several departments while doing one internship. The kitchen department is mainly for trainee chefs, but a future hotel manager should also know how this department works. The physical demand required in the housekeeping department often puts interns off doing their intership there. That's why we give you the option to change department after 4 weeks. A placement in the maintenance department should only be selected if you have an interest in technical matters.

We have a lot more internships available on the Canary Islands, but we are not able to continually update all the placements on our homepage. Therefore, simply ask whether your desired department is still available.
